We value clear expectations, mutual respect and protecting the experience for every guest and guide. Please review this cancellation policy carefully before booking.
General Cancellation Terms
Applies to all public tours and rentals.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable, with no exceptions.
This includes, but is not limited to, late arrivals, no-shows, illness or injury, travel delays or itinerary changes, weather concerns not deemed unsafe by the operator, and failure to meet age, swimming or physical requirements. No-shows are non-refundable.
Private Tour Policy
Private tours reserve exclusive guide time and equipment. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule for a refund. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 48 hours are non-refundable. Reductions in group size, partial attendance or individual cancellations within a private group are not eligible for refunds, credits or future use. Once booked, private tour capacity cannot be resold. This policy is strictly enforced.
Weather & Safety
Tours may be delayed, modified or canceled by High Desert Paddle Co if conditions are deemed unsafe, including high winds, storms, poor visibility, or hazardous lake or canyon conditions. If a tour is canceled by the operator for safety reasons, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule, subject to availability. All safety and weather decisions are made at the sole discretion of the operator.

- All tours operate during daylight hours.
- Start times may shift seasonally due to environmental conditions.
- This policy applies to all public tours, private tours and rentals unless otherwise stated in writing.
By booking, guests acknowledge they have read, understood and agreed to this cancellation policy in full.
